If you have not yet completed your Water Quality Plan contact Wesley Wright at 270-726-1371.  If you have made any changes in your farm operation, please come by the Conservation District Office to update your Water Quality Plan.

Conservation Districts striving to help wildlife

 

The Conservation

Districts gave away 250 blue bird boxes in March 2009.  WRUS announced the bird boxes on day before and the morning of the free blue bird boxes.  The blue bird boxes were given away by First Come, First Served!  One per person.

 

The Conservation Districts once again celebrated Arbor Day, by giving away over 2,000 tree seedlings to the public first come, first served.  This was announced on WRUS Radio Station.

CURRENT WEATHER

 

Check out  the official weather station

at the Baker Natural Area in Russellville.  The Kentucky Mesonet is a high density, mesoscale network of automated environmental monitoring stations currently being developed across the commonwealth. Funding for the Mesonet was secured by U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell through an earmark to the Kentucky Climate Center at Western Kentucky University.
